BookThinkers Newsletter #10 - Think Bigger. Evan Carmichael Is Coming to Boston.

BookThinkers Newsletter #10

This Week at BookThinkers

Two big announcements this week — one happening tomorrow night, one happening in Boston in six weeks.

Here's everything you need to know:

⭐ Instagram Highlight — Evan Carmichael Is Joining Us in Boston

Some people believe in you before you fully believe in yourself. Evan Carmichael is one of those people for Nick.

Evan hosted Nick and Rachel for Canadian Thanksgiving at his home in Toronto. He encouraged Nick to think bigger about BookThinkers LIVE. He's been an active supporter — not just in words, but in actions. That's the kind of person Evan is. He believes in people, and then he shows up for them.

This week, Nick made it official: Evan Carmichael is returning to the BookThinkers LIVE 2026 stage in Boston.

Evan built one of the most influential YouTube channels for entrepreneurs on the planet — over 4 million subscribers — and is the author of Built to Serve and Your One Word. His message is simple and hard to argue with: you already know what you're capable of. You just need someone to remind you.

If you've ever needed a push to think bigger, serve deeper, and actually go after the thing you know you're meant to do — you're going to want to be in that room.

⭐ Live Author Readings — Steven Pressfield | Tomorrow, June 2 at 7 PM EST

Tomorrow night is the one.

Steven Pressfield — author of The War of Art, Gates of Fire, and his new novel The Arcadian — joins Live Author Readings for what might be the most anticipated session yet. He'll be reading from both The War of Art and The Arcadian, and if you know anything about Steven, you know he doesn't phone it in.

This is someone who wrote for 17 years before earning his first penny from writing. Who kept going anyway. Whose work has helped millions of creatives, entrepreneurs, and authors understand the one thing standing between them and the work they're meant to do: Resistance.

Tomorrow night you get to hear him read it live.

Podcast Flashback — Ep. 1: Evan Carmichael | Built to Serve

It's only fitting. Evan Carmichael was the very first guest on the BookThinkers podcast — episode one. At 19, he built and sold a biotech company. At 22, he was a venture capitalist. And through all of it, his driving belief has stayed the same: find what you're built to serve, and build your life around it.

The fact that he's now returning to the BookThinkers LIVE stage in Boston feels like a full-circle moment worth honoring. Start here if you've never heard this conversation.

Parting Thoughts

Six weeks out from Boston, and the lineup is something I'm genuinely proud of.

Jim Kwik. Evan Carmichael. John David Mann. Jill Schulman. Markus Kaulius. Rory Vaden.

These aren't just names on a stage. These are people who have shown up — for their readers, for their communities, for the work — over and over again. That's the energy we're building toward on July 11–12.

If Evan's message is true — and I believe it is — you already know whether you should be in that room.

Stop waiting. The tickets are live.
