BookThinkers Newsletter #4 — The Room Is Getting Bigger

BookThinkers Newsletter #4

This Week at BookThinkers

A lot happened this week. Live Author Readings is officially off the ground, something new just launched for authors, and the BookThinkers LIVE speaker lineup keeps getting stronger.

Here's what's going on:

⭐ Introducing Teview — Built for Authors Who Want to Own Their Audience

We've been quietly building something, and now we're ready to share it with this community first.

Teview is an email marketing platform built specifically for authors. The idea is simple: when a reader finds your book on Amazon, you have one chance to turn that moment into a real relationship. Teview gives you a landing page that offers readers a free Kindle preview of your book — and in exchange, they join your email list.

Your readers become your audience. Your audience becomes your business.

We're in soft launch right now, and we're opening it to the BookThinkers community before anyone else. If you're an author who's ready to stop relying on Amazon's algorithm and start building something you actually own, this is for you.

Learn more at Teview.com or book a quick call with Chris Green if you have questions.

Live Author Readings:

Amy Purdy - May 5th

Last week, Nir Eyal kicked off Live Author Readings in a big way — and the response made it clear this format is resonating. No overproduced content, no heavy moderation. Just an author, their ideas, and a room full of people paying attention.

Next up is Amy Purdy on May 5th. If you missed Nir, don't miss this one.

New Book Content, Every Week

If you're not already following the BookThinkers company page on LinkedIn, it's worth a follow. It's where we share book recommendations, leadership insights, and highlights from the authors we work with — separate from Nick's personal feed and focused purely on book content.

Parting thoughts for the upcoming week:

The BookThinkers LIVE speaker lineup just got two additions I'm genuinely excited about.

Jill Schulman is a former U.S. Marine Corps officer, founder of Breakthrough Leadership Group, and author of The Bravery Effect. Her message is simple and hard to argue with: bravery isn't a personality trait, it's a skill — and it can be built like a muscle. She's one of the most energetic and practical speakers working today.

Markus Kaulius built a supplement company from a startup to $170 million in global sales, and his book Play a Bigger Game lays out the seven principles behind that journey. I blurbed that book because I believed in it and I can't wait to see him on stage in Boston.

Jim Kwik. Jill Schulman. Markus Kaulius. July 11–12. Boston.

The room is getting bigger. Come be in it.
